As this season comes to a close and we travel to Honduras, I’ve been asking myself a simple question: What am I actually taking with me? Not physically, but spiritually, emotionally, and personally. Because Guatemala wasn’t just a place I went, it was a place that changed me, and I don’t want to leave that behind.

I’m taking with me a deeper understanding of who God is; not just in theory, but in reality. I’ve seen Him heal. I’ve felt His presence. I’ve watched Him move in ways I can’t explain.

I’m taking with me the importance of community. Real community. The kind where you worship together, grow together, struggle together, and choose each other daily.

I’m taking with me the value of being poured into. Of not trying to do life or ministry from an empty place, but allowing myself to receive so that I can actually give from something real.

I’m taking with me the reminder that God is just as present in the small moments as He is in the big ones.

And maybe most of all, I’m taking with me a version of myself that feels softer, more aware, and more dependent on Him. I know this isn’t the end of what God is doing. If anything, it feels like the beginning of understanding Him in a deeper way. Guatemala didn’t just give me memories, it gave me perspective. And I have a feeling that’s something I’ll be unpacking for a long time.
