What a week!! it’s only week two, and already my heart is overflowing! One of the most powerful moments of this week was witnessing so many of my friends get baptized. Whether it was their very first time or a rededication, seeing them publicly declare their faith was a beautiful reminder of God’s work in their lives and in mine.

This week, we also had training for Beauty for Ashes, a ministry I’m so blessed to be chosen to help with, that creates safe spaces for women to encounter the hope and healing of Jesus. Through this program, we learn to set up retreats that help women step out of shame and into freedom by sharing their stories and experiencing God’s restoration. I’m so excited to be part of this mission and to see how God will use it to impact lives. Also, yesterday I had my first experience evangelizing. Stepping out of my comfort zone to share God’s love with others was both challenging and rewarding. It’s a reminder that God calls us to be His hands and feet, even when it’s uncomfortable.

Looking back on these last two weeks, I am just overflowing with gratitude and excitement! Every baptism, every training session, every night in my tent (even the night the torrential downpour soaked everything and we had to send all our stuff to the laundromat), and every conversation I had reminds me that God is doing big things. I can’t wait to keep learning, growing, and stepping into all the ways He wants to use me. The journey is only getting started, and I am so ready for all the adventures, challenges, and incredible moments He has in store.
